Quote of the Day

A father's interest in having a child--perhaps his only child--may be unmatched by any other interest in his life. It is truly surprising that the state must assign a greater value to a mother's decision to cut off a potential human life by abortion than to a father's decision to let it mature into a live child.

Yes, I have experienced this. So sad.
Abortion is not Birth Control. It is Genocide.

Hi Mike - Like you I am against abortion and I can understand a father's frustration and I hope one day we can include that into the decision making process. Right now the idea is that it is a mother's body and she should make the choice. For most women it is a hard choice to make.

Have you ever read Cider House Rules? The book is much better than the movie anyway. The doctor in the movie describes his job as delivering orphans (he is head of the boys house) and delivering mothers as well, and you get an awesome feeling for the children that are unwanted as well as the mothers for whom no one wants to feel the baby move or listen to its heartbeat, and you can understand why there is such a law of choice.

Like you I am against abortion, but I can understand the need for it at this moment in our society and I hope that we get past this need one day.
